This achievement is part of a humanitarian journey that began a decade ago with a dream and continues to grow today thanks to the power of partnerships and collective commitment.

But this incubator is not just another one. It is the 200th unit built in collaboration with the Salesians and shipped with the support of Ayuda ContenedoresIt represents the success of a collaborative model that saves the lives of newborns in areas with no access to basic medical technology. And if we count the initial incubators created before our alliance with the Salesians, we've now delivered 220 incubators worldwide!

It all began in 2015, when Alejandro Escario designed the first prototype, which went on to receive several awards. In 2017, Pablo Sánchez joined the project and dedicated the following years to refining the technology and developing the production and distribution model that now allows us to scale up significantly. The result has been exponential impact: in the last five years alone, we’ve delivered 200 incubators to countries where they can mean the difference between life and death.

What’s next?

We’re not stopping here. We want to go further. We are in a full phase of expansion, with a clear goal: to double our impact by 2026 and deliver another 200 incubators to health centers in vulnerable communities. To make this happen, we’re launching a crowdfunding campaign today. Because this dream will only come true with the support of many people who, like us, believe in the power of technology in service of life.

A Message from Senegal

To mark this milestone, we received a very special video from Senegal: the local team shows how they assembled the 200th incubator. A simple but emotional scene that reminds us that each incubator is much more than just a machine—it is a bridge to life.

Medical Open World, la ONG dedicada a democratizar la tecnología médica para salvar vidas, celebra un hito emocionante: hemos llevado nuestra incubadora oficial número 200 hasta Senegal.
